DONOR MESSAGES

,

As the head coach of Missouri S&T Women's Basketball, I am incredibly grateful for the support that our program receives from alumni, families, friends, and donors. Your investment in our student-athletes allows us to provide experiences that extend far beyond the basketball court and helps shape the leaders they will become long after graduation.

Our student-athletes work tirelessly to represent Missouri S&T with excellence in the classroom, in competition, and throughout the community. They have chosen one of the nation's premier academic institutions while also committing themselves to the demands of collegiate athletics. The dedication, discipline, and resilience they demonstrate every day make it a privilege to coach them.

This past season was a testament to their hard work. Our team ranked among the NCAA Division II leaders in several defensive categories, including Field Goal Percentage Defense (25th), Three-Point Percentage Defense (T-25th), Rebounding Margin (24th), and Defensive Rebounds Per Game (10th). We also achieved a historic accomplishment by sweeping Drury in the season series for the first time in 50 years!

As we look ahead to the upcoming season, our team has a unique opportunity to travel to Alaska to compete against Alaska Fairbanks on December 18 and Alaska Anchorage on December 20. While the primary purpose of the trip is competition, we also hope to provide our student-athletes with an unforgettable educational and cultural experience. Opportunities such as viewing the Northern Lights, visiting North Pole near Fairbanks, exploring the Ice Museum, experiencing Alaska's wildlife, and seeing its incredible glaciers are experiences many of our players may never have again.

One of my greatest responsibilities as a coach is creating meaningful opportunities for our student-athletes. We want them to leave Missouri S&T not only with their degree and memories of competition, but also with life-changing experiences that broaden their perspectives and strengthen the bonds they build with their teammates.

The cost of traveling to Alaska is significantly greater than our typical travel schedule, and your support helps make opportunities like this possible. Every contribution directly impacts our student-athletes and helps us provide an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Thank you for your continued belief in our program and, more importantly, in the remarkable young women who represent Missouri S&T Women's Basketball. We are deeply appreciative of your support and the role you play in helping us create a first-class student-athlete experience.
